1. What's your story? Where are you from?

I was born in Japan. I am studying design at a vocational school. 日本で生まれました。専門学校でデザインの勉強をしています。

2. Tell us about your aesthetic.

Things that one does not get tired of seeing. Colorful things that are makes one stress-free, I think that is beautiful. 見ていて飽きないもの、カラフルな色使いでもストレスが無く、ずっと見ていられるものが美しいと思います。

3. What is your favourite medium and why?

It is SNS. I believe Twitter, Instagram has strong diffusive power that is a great media for many people to know about my artwork. I do my work digitally. SNSです。拡散力の強いtwitter、instagramは自分の作品を多くの人に知ってもらうための絶好のメディアだと思っています。

4. What is your artistic process like?

I like drawing since I was a child. I began studying design in earnest since I entered a vocational school last year. I draw illustration as personally from this year and posting my illustrations in SNS. 絵を描くことは小さいころから好きでした。本格的にデザインを学び始めたのは去年、専門学校に入学してからです。今年から個人制作としてイラストレーションを描いています。

5. Who and/or what inspires your work?

I am motivated by observing the activities of the same generation and my classmates. Also, I often get inspired by watching the MV of my favorite artist. I get inspiration from MV of BTS, Dua Lipa and so on. I also get inspiration from fashion magazines too. 同世代や、同級生の活躍を見るとやる気が出ます。また好きなアーティストのMVを見るととてもインスピレーションが湧きます。 The Vamps, Dua Lipa,BTSなど、色々なアーティストのMVを見ます。そこからインスピレーションを受けることが多いです。

6. What role does art play in your life? How does it change the way you view the world?

It is like a machine to send out my view of the world and that gives me the opportunity to affirm myself. It is also one way of the ways to accept myself. 自分の世界を発信するための機械であり、自分を肯定できるチャンスをくれるものです。自分を見つめ直し、好きなものを表現し、自分が好きな世界を表現できた時、自分を受け入れる方法をまた見つけられたような気持ちになります。自分を表現するのに、アートは欠かせないツールです。

7. Where did you study?

I see various art through SNS. Since I am going to school in Tokyo, I will also gain some knowledge from the displays and advertisements of the city. SNSを通していろんなアートを目にします。また毎日東京に通学しているので、街のディスプレイや広告から学んだりもします。

8. Where do you see yourself in five years?

My future dream is to become a designer. Being a designer, in charge of work such as advertisements. And I would like to be a person who can also do personal exhibits of illustrations. 将来の夢はデザイナーになることです。デザイナーになり、広告などの仕事を担当しながら、個人でのイラストでも個展ができるような人間になりたいです。

9. What about in ten?

After 10 years I would like to be an art director. I would like to be involved in an artist's MV production as well. I would like to be an art director who can draw out the charm of someone's favorite artists. 10年後はアートディレクターになっていたいです。アーティストのMV制作などにも携わっていたいです。誰かの好きなアーティストの魅力を引き出せるようなアートディレクターになっていたいです。

10. What do you hope to achieve with your art?

I want to move the hearts of those who view my work, even if it's just by a little. Of course in a good direction. I'd like to make someone feel "I'm glad I could meet this artwork today." I want to make someone happy, even if it's just by a little more. 誰かの心を少しでも良い方向に動かしたいです。「今日この作品と出会えて良かったな。」と思わせたいです。

11. Now, tell us a little more about you as a person: what is your favourite food?

My favorite food is hamburgers. I think that the person who made hamburgers is a genius. 好きな食べ物はハンバーガーです、あの食べ物を考えた人は天才だと思います。

12. Favourite book?

I like Ed Catmull's book "CREATIVITY INC." (I have not read all yet, but haha) This book taught me my precious attitude in making things. 「ピクサー流創造する力」という本が好きです。（まだ読み終わっていませんが笑）ものを作る中で大切な姿勢を教えてもらいました。

13. Favourite genre of music?

I listen to music a lot. I love and keep listening to the songs of The Vamps and New Hope Club. Recently, I listen to BTS songs. The lyrics of BTS make an impression on me. The songs of The Vamps and New Hope Club make me feel refreshed. BTS songs give me a chance to face myself. I love listening to these songs very much. 色々聴きます。ずっと大好きで聞いているのはThe VampsやNew Hope Club の曲です。最近は一番BTSの曲を聴きます。歌詞がものすごく響きます。聞いていると、とても爽やかで楽しい気分になるのがThe VampsやNew Hope Clubの楽曲で、自分と向き合う機械をくれるのがBTSの楽曲です。

14. What are your hobbies?

To draw illustrations, to listen to music, to watch MV, to eat with friends. イラストを描くこと、MVを鑑賞すること、音楽を聴くこと、友達とご飯に行くことです。

15. If you weren't an artist, what would you be?

I can not imagine going down another road other than being involved in art. I like illustrations, designs and art very much, so I want to continue it and I do not plan to think about going down other paths. アーティストにならない以外の道が思い浮かびません（笑）イラスト、絵を描くこと、デザインすることが好きで、それをずっと続けていきたいと思っています。
