1. What's your story? Where are you from?

Hi. I'm a freelance illustrator of Korea. 1. 당신의 이야기를 들려주세요. 어디서 왔나요? 안녕하세요. 저는 한국의 프리랜서 일러스트레이터에요.

2. Tell us about your aesthetic.

Like to express deeps colors that are in the ingredients of food 2. 당신의 미학에 대해 들려주세요. 진한 색감의 맛있는 음식들을 간단하게 표현하는 것을 좋아해요.

3. What is your favourite medium and why?

I like to use Photoshop. Its super convenient and very easy to try various expressions. 3. 당신이 가장 좋아하는 작업 툴은 무엇인가요? 이유는요? 포토샵입니다. 편리하고 여러가지 표현을 쉽게 시도해 볼 수도 있어서 정말 좋아요

4. What is your artistic process like?

I start with sketch/outline of foods that i love or i wanted to try. But instead of drawing it on the paper, i sketch using the photoshop. Then I color the drawings and erase the outlines and unnecessary traces from the outline. 4. 당신의 예술적 창작 과정은 어떻게 되나요? 내가 먹고 싶은 음식이나 먹었던 음식. 또는 좋아하는 음식을 자유롭게 그려요. 그림을 그릴때는 먼저, 스케치를 하지 않고 포토샵으로 바로 그림을 그려요. 그리고 색을 칠한 다음 선을 없애는것이 제 그림의 특징이에요.

5. Who and/or what inspires your work?

Food and traveling. They are things i enjoy and love. 5. 어떤것들이 당신의 작업에 영감을 주나요? 음식과 여행입니다. 음식과 여행은 제가 살아가는데 즐거움을 줘요. 그것들을 생각하면 언제나 행복해요.

6. What role does art play in your life? How does it change the way you view the world?

Art allows me to express myself without any prejudice or stereotype. It also gives me wider view of the world. 6. 예술은 당신의 삶에서 어떤 역할을 하나요? 그리고 당신이 세상을 보는 관점에 어떤 변화를 주나요? 예술은 세상에서 나를 편견과 선입견없이 표현할수있게 해주고, 또 더 넓은 세상을 볼수있게 해줘요.

7. Where did you study?

I studied illustration at ChungKang College of Cultural Industries. 7. 어디서 공부했나요? 청강문화산업대학에서 일러스트를 공부했어요.

8. Where do you see yourself in five years? Working in an agency?

I see myself working in a studio with other artists where we can share our ideas and motivate each other. 8. 5년 후에 당신은 어떤 모습일거라 생각하나요? 에이전시에서 일하고 있을까요? 많은 아티스트분들과 소통하며 작업할 수 있는 작업실에서 일 하고 있을거에요.

9. What about in ten?

I would love to see myself owning a coffee shop full of designs that I've created. 9. 10년 후에는요? 저만의 캐릭터로 만든 물건들로 가득찬 가게를 하고 있을거에요. 옆에는 커피도 팔면서요.

10. What do you hope to achieve with your art?

I wish that people finds joy through my work. 10. 당신의 예술로 무엇을 성취하고 싶은가요? 많은 사람들이 저의 작품을 보고 즐거워하고 기분이 좋아지면길 원해요.

11. Now, tell us a little more about you as a person: what is your favourite food?

I like salad, bread and Vanilla Latte. 11. 자, 우리에게 당신의 인간적인 부분을 조금 들려주세요. 당신이 제일 좋아하는 음식은 무엇인가요? 샐러드,빵,바닐라라떼를 좋아해요.

12. Favourite book?

I like the Maze Runner series. 12. 제일 좋아하는 책은요? 메이즈러너 시리즈를 좋아해요.

13. Favourite genre of music?

I like the exciting rock. 13. 제일 좋아하는 음악장르는? 신나는 락을 좋아해요.

14. What are your hobbies?

I like to spend my time with my two puppies Field and Mountain 14. 취미는 무엇이에요? 내 취미는 내 귀여운 두마리의 강아지 산,들과 시간을 함께 보내는거에요.

15. If you weren't an artist, what would you be?

i love traveling. I probably became a traveler if I didn't become an artist. 15. 만약 당신이 아티스트가 아니었다면 어떤 일을 했을까요? 나는 여행을 좋아해요. 그래서 아마 여행에 관련된 직업을 가졌을 것 같아요.
